VINUM is Riedel's basic stemmed series. This series was created by Georg J. Riedel, based on the Sommeliers range, in order to make Riedel varietal-specific glassware more accessible to the general consumer.

This glass is perfect for young, full-bodied (more than 12 percent alcohol), complex red wines that are high in tannin. It smooths out the rough edges: emphasizing the fruit, playing down the bitter qualities of the tannin, and allowing wines to achieve a balance that would normally take years of ageing to acquire. The generous size of this glass allows the bouquet to develop fully.

All Riedel glasses are dishwasher safe.
